The Mackenzie Applied Research Association (MARA) is a registered not-for profit applied research association in Fort Vermilion, Alberta.
MARA conducts crop, livestock and enviromental research and provides extension services to Mackenzie County producers and residents. Our goal is to help producers increase their productivity and profit margins using the best management practices required to sustain the environment. As a corporate sponsor, you contribute to this goal.

Sponsorship Levels
Gold Sponsor - $2,000/In-kind contribution
Gold level corporate sponsors receive continuous recognition in our newsletter, annual report and on our website. Gold sponsors are also recognized at our seminars, workshops, field tours, and other events through the use of their logo. In addition, Gold sponsors receive a full page free advertisement in our newsletter.
Where applicable, Gold sponsors may contribute an article to MARA’s digital and print publications. A representative is also invited to attend all MARA’s events free of charge and set up booth (logistics permitting). Where permitting, Gold sponsor’s representative may be be allowed to deliver a short speech during MARA events.
Silver Sponsor - $1,000/In-kind contribution
Silver level sponsors receive continuous recognition in our newsletter, annual report and on our website. Silver sponsors are also recognized at our seminars, workshops, field tours, and other events through the use of their logo. Silver sponsors will also receive a half page free advertisement in our newsletter.
Silver sponsors may also invited to contribute an article for MARA’s digital and print newsletters. A representative is invited to attend MARA events at no cost and can set up a booth (logistics permitting).
Event Sponsor - $500/In-kind contribution
A lunch sponsor is recognized at the event they are sponsoring. The sponsor is invited to give a short presentation at the event. Event sponsors can set up booths and distribute any hand-outs, advertising or products they wish to share, as long as those materials do not contravene our policies.
The logo or trademark of an Event sponsor will be included on any advertising, agendas or other handouts for that event. Event sponsors are also verbally acknowledged by MARA staff at the specific event.
Corporate Sponsor Requirements
Corporate sponsors are legal companies, partnerships, corporations or businesses operating in Canada. Corporate sponsors are welcome at all meetings and events, but do not have a vote at public board meetings or at the Annual General Meeting.
